BIO


Doi Kim (b. 1995 Seoul, South Korea) is an artist based in New York City, USA, and Seoul, South Korea. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea, and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York, USA. As an exchange student, she studied printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague for a year in 2017.

She has curated a screening event, As the light disperses into the Eyes (2022), PCV A, and her two solo exhibitions, CE 20XX I (2022), space xx, Seoul, South Korea, and Velvet (2023), ChaShaMa Space, Manhattan, New York. Her works have been exhibited internationally in New York, China, South Korea, and the Czech Republic. Her work was featured in Create! Magazine Print Issue #29 and major press companies in South Korea. She received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the 2022 Tripvill International Film Festival and <RE: SEARCH> Grant from the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. She participated in the SÍM Residency in Reykjavík, Iceland, and the 2024 NYFA Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program. In May 2024, she will have her third solo exhibition at 17717 in Seoul, South Korea. She will participate in the ChaNorth International Writers & Artists-in-Residence Program in June 2024.

김도이 (b.1995)는 미국 뉴욕과 서울을 오가며 판화를 주매체로 영상, 퍼포먼스, 설치 미술 등을 선보이는 시각예술가이다. 그는 한국예술종합학교 조형예술과 학사를 졸업하고 미국 뉴욕 SVA (School of Visual Arts)에서 2021년에 석사과정을 마쳤다.
